Note that the registration process will not proceed if any of the documents is found missing or the registration form is incomplete. After the submission of the registration form and the aforementioned documents, the school’s Admission Committee will evaluate the documents and contact the parent(s) to confirm the date of Admission Test.

To evaluate the academic abilities of the student, an admission test is conducted before finalizing the admission. For primary, middle and secondary school classes, the students are tested in the following subjects:

  • English
  • Urdu
  • Mathematics

The length of the test varies from 2 to 3 hours depending on the grade level. The concepts learnt in the previous academic year at LGS Gulberg are included in the Admission Test to ensure the prospective student has the potential to meet the syllabus requirements of the new class.

For A Level students, no admission test is conducted. However, the admission decision is based solely on their O Level result and other documents required at the time of registration.

After the checking of the admission test, the parents are called within a week by the School Office to schedule an interview. Both student and the parent(s) must be present for the interview with the school’s admission committee, which includes the Regional Head, Ms. Ayesha Aamir, the respective school’s headmistress and the program coordinator.

If the results of the admission test are found unsatisfactory, the school may grant admission to a student on a conditional basis. In this case, the parents have to sign an undertaking if their child scores less than 50% marks in any of the three subjects.

After the interview, the admission committee will decide the placement of the prospective student in the most appropriate grade considering the best interest of the student in mind. The decision depends on various factors, such as age of the student, academic achievement, results of previous class, performance in the admission test and the interview.

Parent(s) of successful candidates are called by the school office to receive the fee voucher for the next quarter of the academic year. Once the fee has been deposited in the respective campus’s bank account, the admission is confirmed to the parent(s).
